ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Look, let's just stop the farting around about them bleating about a defeat and/or being hypocrites: their psychopathic fans butchered 39 people and shouldn't be in existence because of it. That's the basic and undeniable fact here.

I couldn't support a club with that history. It'd mean I was complicit in some way shape or form with that obscenity.

They can win the PL title and CL titles multiple times - they'll still be an illegitimate non-club in my eyes. They are stained with the mark of Cain.
For me another thing is the sheer favouritism they receive.

The fact that they say they’re discriminated against compounds it further.

Proper reds like one of my nans was must be turning in their graves at such behaviour.

Can always rely on you to go straight to DEFCON 1. Good work.

Didn’t they recently have a newspaper issue an apology and remove an article because it questioned the fans behaviour.

They love being the victim, they throw it out like they’re this knight on shining armour fighting the regime.

It’s an embarrassment, the fact that the majority of fans throughout the country can now see this only heightens their status because it’s now a case of “they hate us because we’re Liverpool”

This is the establishments club, even if they act like they’re against the establishment.

Their fan base is now unrecognisable from 30 years ago. Probably over the last 10 years they have become the most hyped, hysterical, self centred, cringeworthy, embarrassing, deluded, non-scouse, bunch of whoppers on the planet.

Or the undersoil heating at that end of the ground causing the white goal line to expand adding extra width ?
Nothing like a half-baked conspiracy theory is there lollol

The ball was wet , thus causing a refraction of light effect as the goal line camera looked at the ball . Like putting a pencil in a glass of water where the part under the surface appears at a different angle to the part above the water surface . The ball , in reality , hit the net .

The biggest factor in their irritation, for me, is that they are (factually speaking) a big club, but their fans have the mentality of a small club.

I'm from the North West, but live in the South, and it seems like they have plastic fans everywhere who go into arrogance-overdrive every time they get near winning something. It makes you think "I hope they ******* lose", and they usually do.

I'm also surprised how many of them seem to be blind as to how much spin, praise and propaganda is weighted towards them constantly from pundits and the media.

Vintage irony by-pass and RS logic from one of them in the local rag regarding the coin throwing incidents at The Etihad (which, of course, no one condones)

"It's absolutely mad that people can have such anger towards somebody else over a team they support they feel the need to throw coins."I genuinely can't get my head around that mentality because it's just a game at the end of the day.

The paper should've ran an alternative Spot The Ball/Brick/Ale Can/Smoke Bomb Competition after City came to Anfield.

They really - given their horrendous history - should just hide under a rock and never draw attention to themselves.

I was in town the morning after Heysel and they were spilling out of Lime St and belting out their songs and looking for any trouble they could on Church St and Lord St. They couldn't give a monkeys they'd left 39 human beings in the morgue. Badge of honour it was for them.

That's not to say there weren't decent people amongst them - a handful of them acted as first aiders in the stadium and rescuers when that wall collapsed. I;m not saying they were all guilty.

But as a body, they really should just STFU and stand in the corner. We all know Hillsborough was used to obliterate Heysel by many of that lot. We all KNOW it.

No other club in English football would have survived the notoriety of that night. None.

They enjoy one of the most sycophantic media coverages in world football. Only they could have gotten away with one of the most diabolical football crimes of the last century.

Only a serious miscarriage of justice is worth discussing.

Ramosgate was sly, nasty but falls well short of obviously biased or serious misjudged refereeing (e. g. Hand of God).

There's nothing to discuss, save for the eternal Kopite winge about conspiracies.

Do they think if the grass was cut they'd of outpassed City hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Whenever you watch any of their games they hoof the ball up to the front 3 as quick as they can. Like Wimbledon but with better strikers. Imagine Hendo and Milner trying to out skill the Silva's.

It was really, really long I tells ya! It's a conspiracy!!
