for me,i never get the thing that people use as in you cant say they play well today etc because of a game a month ago or whatever,in the same sense that bolton say they went down because of a goal v us that they didnt get-even though it was about the 3rd game of that season-i am not one for things like that really

Off course you need to accumulate points throughout the season and every point is the same no matter how you get them, but you know there are matches that give you a lift, it might have been a late goal to draw or like in their case a undeserved win. It also puts doubts in their rivals that 'uh oh it's their year'. Pickford spilling the ball doesn't mean they will win the title because of that, but the boost it has given them has made these matches easier than it may have been. That and the good spacing between fixtures.

One thing I’ve noticed: Liverpool players pass the ball to their own players in space...why can’t we do that?
Said it the other day. We never have chemistry in the team. Against spurs for example both Coleman and Walcott second half got the ball by the half way line and slowed it down or turned and passed back. Son got the ball in a similar position and 10 seconds later it was in front of Kane to score .

There is never any urgency , we don't play with intensity and that is down to the players not the manager. Always been the case no matter who is In charge.

I'd like to think over the next 3-4 years as brands builds a squad that we get that running through the club. As it stands we have a disjointed squad of either not good enough or players who will leave us at the first sign of champions League football.

Liverpool is going to tear City a new one. The only respite will be that their PL attentions, will mean the CL may be beyond them.
Meanwhile, Everton will struggle for a point at Huddersfield...
