It frustrates me so much to see them recruit so well and play good football when only 6 years ago we were level par, if not better.

Tell you what though the £70m or so they paid for Alisson and Van Dijk look like absolute steals.
As much as we can compete financially now, 6 years ago our record signing was still Fellaini. We've basically been able to spend money at a top level for 5 windows so realistically we weren't going to keep up. The problem is it took us so long to get some cash that now the road to the top is as difficult as it has ever been.

Edit: Crap you're clearly a kopite and I bit. Dead weird coming on your rivals forum seconds after a big win.

I don't know what can really be done about it but Inter should be absolutely livid with the side Barca put out. If the order of the fixtures is switched around it's probably them and not Spurs who are through.

Not bothered in the slightest. Inter are awful, worse than Napoli.

Very true. Missed the trick not capitalising on Roberto's first year. Long, long way to go now to be legitimate top 4 contenders - fear it may be a while before we see us in the CL.

'Kinnell. I love this team but we do make life hard for ourselves. My old ticker is still going 19 to the dozen.

Still, we are though and noone gave us a prayer after the first three games.

If you'd beaten Liverpool you would be level on points with them now. Gone under the radar how well Spurs are doing this year.
