Another manager who I worry about. I don’t feel like he has a plan B for when we ship a goal and especially when we go behind. His game changer is usually to throw on a multitude of attacking players to make an absolute spaghetti with no style or formation in the final third and just kind of hope one of them scores.

Even when we’re winning his substitutions are too late and he’s yet to properly address the set pieces. We may be playing “nice football” but it still isn’t particularly effective. Still not convinced.

It's time to see some tactical tweaks because teams are starting to get onto what we want to do and really shut us down. Also thought the pressure in the first half was not well coordinated. A few instances where the midfield went and the defense didn't leaving a huge space for them to run at us from.

Yep - we've been found out and really struggle to defend against pace.

I´m not really worried because it´s still early days and there´s been plenty of positive signs. At the end of the day we´ve probably got the 7th best team in the league and that´s where we are.

Want to threaten to the top 6? Start signing players good enough to do so. Even if by some miracle we got into the Champions League with this set of players it´d be a flash in the pan.

Still too open.
When teams back off and defend its fine, when teams take it to us his utterly clueless.

Also paying the price for not bringing a striker for 3 transfer windows in a row.

Man city are going to destroy us,

Said in the matchday thread that I think the last minute loss against Liverpool has mentally drained us as we looked knackered against Newcastle and again tonight. Both teams looked fitter and sharper.

Barcode game was just them defending well to snatch a point.

This game tonight we were out battled over the park especially the 2nd half.

We've got quality and can hurt teams. But there's not much fight in them if needed.

Losing a bit of faith here. RS away not his fault. Newcastle home I think he made unnecessary changes to the lineup. It’s a crap performance and we can’t threaten Newcastle much. Watford home - things does not work since we scored the first goal. Far too late to make subs, he should react when the tactics did not work. We invited the opposition to come to us.

I expect 2 home wins out of this. It is really a bad return. We can’t keep drawing these average teams at home. The turning point was like when Pickford made that schoolboy error.

Gutted that we walk away from a home stand with Watford and Newcastle with 2 points. With City and Spurs coming we are going to see what Silva and company are made of. Give the lad another year and window to sort some things out.
