One game at a time lads, Watford will have put a shift in against city. We looked a bit leggy 2nd half against Newcastle. We will be sharper whichever 11 we put out. Comfortable win and then look to city.
 

3-0 I think we will score early and then it will be case of picking them off late in the game. I hope Walcott and Bernard can score as I feel if they get one it might just get then going. We need to win as the next 2 look tricky. I think us and United will battle fot 6th and 7th as we are better than the rest. Maybe an opportunity to finish 5th will come up if one of the above gets embroiled in a Europa League fight.
 
We should give Niasse a start.
Lost count of the number of times he's been written but then comes up with a goal when we really need it, he seems to be the best of a bad bunch.
Hopefully we can loan a half decent CF in January until the end of the season.
 
Another awkward game for us, but the type of game we need to get through if we're to make a proper dent in the top six etc. Niasse to come on in the second half and score a couple to give us all the points after Watford have taken a one nil lead. COYB, and all that.

Honestly, my worry is that we saw a slight improvement in our results against the top sides under Martinez and that soon fizzled out.

In terms of taking our chances we need to do that but in all games apart from possibly Arsenal the other side has had far better chances than us. The gap between us and the top sides is still big.
 
Get the defence back together and Rico up top and we'll win tomorrow.

Need to get those 3 points to get back into 6th and create a bit of gap between the sides below as City will tonk us next week imo.

The big one is Spurs, first home game against a top 6 side will tell us alot imo, away from home is much tougher than when you have the crowd behind you.
 
We really should be looking to stick 3 past this lot. I would go for Richcharlson Tosun and Lookman across the front and I would go at them from the kick off. An early goal changes how these teams play against you.

Think Watford will generally have more of a go than the dross like Newcastle.

Tosun or DCL = dropped points.
 
Would drop Tosun 100% and get Richarlison back in at centre forward, don’t think Tosun has a future here in all honesty and he’s probably the least effective out of him Niasse and DCL.

Want a big performances here and I’m sure Silva will have them up for it, still yet to put in a complete display imo this season (despite massive improvements on last season) hoping it comes here.

Been a gutting week of football.

We really need a win tomorrow tired of gash sides breathing down our necks
