I bet Theres gonna be more everton players doin the same in the summer

Yeah. There'll be a mass exodus. I blame Moyes. And the fans. And the club.

We don't pay enough money. Our fans are [Poor language removed] and never support players (apart from when they want to leave), The club is small and [Poor language removed] and not in Europe. And Moyes is a clueless w*nker.

Pretty much.

If players want to play for clubs playin at the elite level that we cant offer then, thats football

Ill be suprised if bilya, heitinga, felliani, yobo, maybe yak and pienaar are at the club next season

Jesus where do I start?

Probably by not arguing with a kid.

He doesn't see Everton as a rival to clubs like Bayern, which is fair really. The disappointing thing is that he doesn't even see us as anywhere near the same level, such that he would have to be very careful what he said to avoid upsetting his current club. It's like if a Birmingham player was linked with Man United, no one would be embarrassed if that player came out and said 'of course it's flattering' etc.

A shame.

Theres nothing to argue about to be fair.

Bilya aint playin games and is a flop. Heitinga wants a move. Pienaar and yobo are practically gone
, yak will be surplus next season, and felliani will be an outstandin champs league player not at a champs league club who clubs will want.

Fair assumption.

The Guardian weighs in on this...

Everton centre half and Police Academy franchise amusing comedy beefcake Jonny "Moses" Heitinga has said he wouldn't mind playing for Bayern Munich. "I have to admit that I feel flattered that I'm being linked with a big club such as Bayern – I'd definitely be interested in joining them," he said, carefully disguising his intentions through a series of delicately coded messages. "They play Champions League football and I'm still eligible to play in the competition, since we don't play European football with Everton," he went on, muddying the trail with further finely-couched ambiguities. "Every footballer wants to reach the top and I'm already 27-years-old. So this could be the right moment," he added, expertly maintaining his impenetrable smokescreen.

Gertcha you bulb eating cnut.

*with apologies to Dutch Toffee*

All true, mate. All true.

it was sarcasm.

Moyes has done nothing wrong, if he's not playing players its because they aren't doing enough in training. Or he has a reason. If players get into strops over his style of management then [Poor language removed] 'em. HE's the manager.
The fans have done nothing but welcome all the players above. Especially JH. We are paying a kings ransom to JH. Have probably offerred more than anyone else so far, to Pienaar, and have been rewarding loyalty to the club left right and centre with new contracts. Loads of the squad are signed up long term - because they are happy with things here - that is down to the structure of the club and the way it is being run. That is down to Moyes.

The club is one of the most successful in England ever. Has one of the largest fan bases (though you wouldn't know if from the kind of fans in this thread) in the world. And provided we click into gear this year (and we normally do every season), a push for Europe is potentially on the cards. Why am I reminding Evertonians of this...why is everyone siding with these players?

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE. DO YOU SUPPORT EVERTON? or do you just support this new breed of wank players, who go to the press the first sign of trouble rather than rolling their socks up and getting stuck in.

I despair of you so called everton fans. really I do.

Excellent post and tbh the whole squad needs to go back to to those kind of basics which for a large part of Davey's reign has been our major strength. Johnny needs to put a shift in if he is brought in Sunday, but if there's any chance of a Lescott v Arsenal style performance then I hope Moyes would see sense to leave him out to try and sort it out in the coming weeks or give him the green light to move on in 12 weeks time.

I've got no problems with that...but I like to look at things with a level head rather than blue tinted specs.

Heitinga was asked a question and has just said Bayern are a big club and it'd be nice to play for them. Its not like it was a Citeh or a Villa or a Spurs he was talking about, its last years Champions League finalists and current german league Champions. I dont mind players with an eye to play at the top level if they're capable of doing so...which IMO he is.

What I dont like is the mentality of "he's a snide, get rid" whenever a quality player players for us then is swifty rubbished because he might want to, ya know, play at an elite level.

So far, he's not getting games, we're 4th from bottom and waaaay off the pace against you Spurs and Citeh's with no European football, no sign of investment, and no sign of making that next step.

That's a level headed view IMO. I support the club but I also see its limitations.

Moyes has to learn to accomodate quality players that can be ****s, use them and **** them off at the right time. He's got to reduce the size of his own ******* ego, and play them ahead of Neville, Osman and Hibbert. I'd like to win this derby.
