Everything being said about him in this thread was said by Arsenal fans during his time there. We’ve seen his ceiling and it isn’t good enough for where we want to go. Try get rid whilst we can make our money back on him. I’m sure Southampton will oblige.

Sure his grandpops has just carked it too.

His calf was strapped so possibly injured he’s been wasting chances and not playing well for weeks and his grandad just died? Why is he playing when we have actual players that can take his place ?

He needs to think more at times, His confidence looks shot but he is a cracking player and am willing to give him this season to learn when to shoot and when to pass. That has been his main failing. Silva will sort it.

Good player but woefully out of form. I'd say Lookman probably deserves to start on Sunday and having Walcott as an option from the bench is a great option.

The time has got to come sometime. Lookman has looked really good coming off the bench and seems to of knuckled down to get back to playing. Silva has handled him brilliantly. Walcott coming off the bench doing what Lookman has would seem to be a clever move because late in a game when defenders are tired his pace would open the game up for us massively

Different games require different things.

Alot of criticism for him but he's still making positive runs, after all we did score from another run through the middle from him. Not saying he hasn't been relatively poor, but against Liverpool I'd much rather have his pace keeping Robertson back, with Lookman I think Robertson would be more at ease pushing forward and I don't know if I could trust Lookman to follow the man. Not sure Walcott would either but I dont think they'd push as much leaving Walcott alone.

It was another case of Walcott not being able to finish with only the keeper to beat IMO.
Most strikers get a goal with the same exact strike he made. I'm not saying he hasn't disappointing in the finishing department because he most certainly has. I'm saying he created the goal with a dangerous run and a decent enough attempt. There isn't really a need to downplay his impact on that goal.
