New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Moving to a new stadium increases the average attendance dramatically.

Before West Ham moved to the London Stadiun, they had 24,000 season ticket holders and they rarely filled Upton Park. They now have 53,000 season ticket holders.

People are more willing to pay £50 to watch a football match if the stadium is of a high standard and has no obstructed views.

Spot on.

With the time this is taking and lack of any announcement plus all these cryptic clues from meis about waves. The only logical solution to all this is that moshiri and usmanov are genetically modifying turf to make it visibly clear. We will literally be playing on the Crest of a wave. It will also be called The USM Goodisea stadium.

Can remember us saying though that we would have one huge home end. And a smaller end, is that what they mean by "wave" ?

i honestly just think it's a unique name like "the yellow wall", don't think it has anything to do with design. If it were the design, this would constitute a wave too.

I very much doubt that we’ll end up with a capacity smaller than 60,000. We need to be competing with the likes of Spurs and the RS in terms of match day revenue.

This is true but even with a capacity the same as Anfield I cant see us having a simliar match day revenue, they make a fortune from the tourist fans and we dont have them or the crap merch to sell to them

I totally agree with you. The RS are always going to beat us in terms of merchandise sales, which is why we’re going to have to at least match them in terms of attendances.
