New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

September 13th:

"We will also be issuing a travel survey that will be going out in the next few weeks and publishing a project website that will keep everybody informed on our progress" - Colin Chong.

October 12th:

Nothing.

They really do take the piss. How in any way shape or form can Everton be described as a professional organisation off the pitch?

just be patient dave for gods sake!

Spurs' new stadium was first announced in 2008 and still isn’t completed.

Everton fans upset we're not announcing it will be ready within 4 years.

Sound that

How is that relevant? This is our fourth stadium scheme in 17 years. I think it’s fair to say we’ve been patient enough. Also, did you ever go to the old White Hart Lane? It was a million miles ahead of the shack that Goodison now resembles. They weren’t as a desperate for a new stadium as we are.

True Titus very true but I'm sure you can also understand why the majority of fans would be pessimistic and feel a lot better with more updates due to the amount of failed attempts at a new stadium we have had.

I think it's pretty understandable tbh mate that patience is wearing thin because it's not just the past couple of years, it's been the past 15/20 years.

..perhaps a cryptic message that the stadium design will look like a ‘Blue Wave’. Very nice.

"Blue Wave" is the term coined for the (hoped for) Democrat surge in the upcoming midterm elections. I'm 99% sure that was nothing more than a jokey reference for his American followers. Sorry.

This is the site of The Lexington tower on Princes Dock , it has took 4 years to get to this stage .
It was fully funded and a straightforward design and concept, think our stadium might take a bit longer.

The club said earlier this year ,the finance was hoped to be in place during the 3rd quarter of this year. That's come and gone.
Well, I hear there's a FUNDAMENTAL rethink concerning funding and sources for it - though I'm not at liberty to elaborate.

I would say though that the shift represents a complete waste of the time already elapsed.

Not if the shift represents more favourable terms for the club.
