Well not everyone is Kendall and the situation 30 years ago can not be applied to today’s scenario, perhaps.

I think 7th is not a big ask. That’s 7th not 4th. There should be a progession if he can achieve big thing in the end. Results based, as always.

So you don't get seventh or any other position until the end of the season, so before judging, should we not wait until the end of the season.

The ease teams get through us is still alarming. We looked better yesterday in defense but still those brain fart moments like the sessegnon chance and the one pickford came and smothered. Theres always going to be chances for the opposition but we've definitely made it too easy for teams this season.

I keep coming back to gana, while he played well yesterday, his game is essentially running around like a headless chicken. Theres only so far that can take you imo. Big positive from yesterday was the centre back pairing, they seem to be getting comfortable with each other now and Keane is finally starting to look like the player we wanted from Burnley.

Silvas changed our entire mentality in less than 10 games. How many shots did we have yesterday? Something like 12 or 13 corners too. Compared to last season it's a stark contrast. We've dropped points this season and been unlucky with decisions/generally unlucky. I hope we go into the big games with the same approach we did at arsenal as we lost that game purely on a combination of bad finishing and bad luck. We are on the way to being where we want to be I think, theres a direction and style now that we've been missing since Martinez left. Still early days by far more positives than negatives imo
Such a lazy comment that. Just because a player has a good work rate doesn't mean they're a "headless chicken". The fact he's made the most tackles of any player in Europe this season (despite missing a game) shows you that there is a purpose to him covering so much ground. He offers so much to the team.

His attacking set up is very good. Defensively we may still be adjusting but more talented teams might find too much space. I'm interested in seeing how we get on against United coming up.

In order to progress we have to allow a manager to manage and be here for more than a fortnight . To buy the players and to have them settle and become comfortable within the system it all takes a bit of time as does just having a manager manage us .

If we’re having the same conversations in a year then they’ll carry more weight.

Ah, so you'll have seen first hand how average we were for 55 minutes and the atmosphere in the ground was not a happy one?

Of course it wasn’t, because our fans are the worst on the planet as I said on here the other day, consistently booing off when drawing at half time. Don’t deserve to celebrate any of our goals the utter entitled worms. There isn’t a collection of people anywhere in the world that know less about footy than the Neanderthals that gather inside that place on a match day.

Worst on the planet? Get a grip of yourself. Our fanbase is amongst the poorest, in terms of income, in the country, yet the ground is packed every home game. Our support put up the money and expect to see these players perform like they can actually be bothered. But no, let's protect the millionaires, who's job is their hobby, and go after the working class fans, spending their money to watch it.

Question for you, btw, giving our home fans are the worst on the planet, why do we have a woeful away record and our home form saves us every season?

The only entitled worm here, is you. Should be ashamed of yourself.

I think it more about how its being done. I have not issue with someone claiming Evertonians suck, there are tons of proof of this, for example on this website. A lot of us seem to be whiny manchildren, for some reason. Its weird, I have never met a whiny-man Evertonian IRL, they all seem to be great people, but on the internet? Yeah, we suck on more than one level, and it didnt use to be like that.

If it all goes pear-shaped Marco can console himself with the thought that the club might give him a job as a steward in the Lower Bullens like the last waster in his job.

Hahaha “AVIN A GO AT DER FANS LAD??”

Booing should be reserved for players clearly downing tools or not being arsed. We’re just not a very good team, that’s not their fault. It’s the fault of the obese plank that used to manage us and assembled it. We have no divine right to expect to win every single half of football we play at home to these types of teams, yet we consistently boo off at half time when drawing. Our fans are an absolute disgrace and I can’t stand being associated with them at the moment.
