If we lose tomorrow we'll have less points than after 6 games last season when everyone was fuming and calling for koemans head and acted like we were certs to be relegated.....think about that for a minute.

Thought about it, and have come to the conclusion that it was due to Koeman having spent £200m to construct the worst Everton team in two decades that was the reason we were all calling for his head, next.

Koeman's signings got him the sack. Ordinarily those results would not get an everton manager the boot but it's the fact he spent so much on so flippin many players to make us significantly worse. If I was an owner I'd sack a bloke who spent big money to weaken my investment.

How many times did we say "if moyes had a billionaire owner, we would be going for the title", he lacked quality players because they cost too much, but in terms of grit and determination and getting the best out of players he was better then anyone, the crowds have been flat aswell since he left.
If marco silva continues this poor run of form, he is worth considering.

His stint at Man U didn't work out too well for him.

The one not so major difference difference being, that Silva has had to sort out the unholy mess, that the Koeman and Walsh axis of destruction created.

I`ll say it again, this season is all about transition and stablity, anything else is a bonus.

Think about that for a minute.

True and a lot of them already gone on perm/loan. However, it can’t be used as a free pass. Fat Sam got 8th with those mess so why would ppl suddenly think 11th is ok?

Why are we so quick to write off managers? Moyes finished 17th in his second season, and we stuck by him.

Because some people seem to think that after 5 games, we should be playing like Barcelona, despite having a midfield that consists entirely of players that can`t pass a ball forward, strikers who won`t score a lot of goals, a play maker / dead ball expert who is neither and a defence that can`t defend set pieces.

I’m not written him off as yet. I just think getting 1 point in the last 2 home matches was a crap return and things must be improved.

There’s no point of using Moyes as comparison. He worked wonders with that budget in 2004.
