Who do you think is going to pay that kind of figure ? There will be no demand for shares now that Moshiri has the vast majority. .Cheers Bill.
I'm sure he's looking forward to his 5% quadrupling in price.
It all depends on how much the club have to sell the tickets for. If it is economically viable to be able to sell the extra seats you have tacked to the top of stands as a new lower price category I'm sure they will be snapped up. After a few years as the debt decreases and becomes ever more manageable those seats that you have added start to become more and more beneficial as an income stream.
If you have a stadium that you are going to struggle to be able to expand like this one you have to take that into consideration. For instance had the club added a second tier (+5k) to the park end, the 3 or so million it would have cost at the time would have generated at least 44 million by now (not including food/drink/programme sales) even if we use lowball estimates.
So at the end of the day it will be how much does 55k cost over a 50k or a 60k over a 55k etc. and what price you would have to sell those tickets at to pay back the cost of extending it in the first place over x amount of years.
I doubt unless we really struggle to get funding it will be as low as 50k.
Moshiri has a pre agreed price on Bills shares plus first option to buy them at the agreed priceCheers Bill.

I know that the club have been flexible at Goodison in terms of pricing, but I cant see pricing for tickets in a new stadium following that same route. Without success I could see a real problem filling a 60,000 seater stadium or even 55,000. I'm sure the long term benefit of having 10,000 extra seats is real. However, I cant see a long term vision for the club being a priority. The building costs will be kept as low as possible and there'll be a smaller stadium than the one a lot seem to want. That's been on the cards for a year now. The club are nudging the fan base that way.
Aye something about dead in the waterhavent you been saying all along it wont happen? now its on the cheap with a reduced capacity?
The club will shortly announce a major step forward on the ground
They are buying
100 wheelbarrows
60 shovels
50 hard hats
50 hi vis jackets
50 pairs of safety shoes
1 Tom of blue gravel and 5 bags of cement lol
The atmosphere from a full 55,000 seater stadium should in theory be better than that of a full 50,000 seater stadium
As I said the club will more than likely look at the criteria of sales cost and site restrictions before deciding on capacity
Contrary to popular belief the club will employ experts in their field to advise them on all these issues and not do the workings on an A4 pad
that should read...'...the FUNDING is going ahead.
Atmosphere? Atmosphere? How many posters on here have experienced the days when Everton regularly had 60,000 plus never mind the couple of times when there was over 70,000? Now that is atmosphere.
