1)Doubt the council will loan money to someone who has the amount of money usmanov has, he just received 550m.

2)When they do sell the club the new owners aren't going to be happy to be paying the council 7m a year.

3) to sell the club for a good price there going to have to get us into the top 4. Your looking at 500m for a stadium and a further 500m to bring in world class players. Spending 1bn and then selling the club for more then that.

I can't see it

Wait, you think people without money are MORE likely to get loans?

Who says he wants to sell, he's 64 I'm not sure he's got massively long term plans.

This is truly my fave thread since ive been on here! Its a melting pot of all things Everton - elixier of the gods crossed with a pebble dashed public bog. Great times

Sorry mate but both councils and banks only loan to people with money, lowers the risk you see.

£7M a year is just peanuts.

In ten years time every PL club will be worth over £2Bn, it’s the way of the world......

Think if anything will be after the stadium funding gets approval from the council.

A new stadium with over half of it financed by a loan repayable at a paltry £6 million a year is exactly the sort of good investment Usmanov is looking for you would imagine.
