If United and Spurs are chatting about Toby Thingy, this lads uncle should point out that he has a better chance of getting a move to United by signing for us. Prove yourself in the PL, calls will be made.

Second in the leauge and second best defence in the leauge but yeah nearly as bad as a team that was battling relagation at one point last season:coffee:
 
To be honest the way we are I'd rather Rojo or someone with PREM experience. This lad could be awful he could be good eventually it's a real punt especially at the price tag. We have no idea if he will settle or flop. We need stability at the back and a player to slot in straight away.

Because that worked so well with Keane and Williams?

Any player could flop, and while we have no idea whether he'll settle, that's what the club is paying Brands and Silva to decide.

Fair enough. But why are united so desperate to recruit central defenders when they already have 5 at the club.
