It’s not as easy as you claim to rebuild the squad. We’ve struggled to sign one player this summer. That’s without considering how to get rid of most of the rubbish on the books.

Easy, hard whatever. I don't care. It has to be done. I watch football to enjoy my team not to survive. I will never pander to Big Sam anti football.

If you’re saying you’d be prepared to go down then you’re not a fan.

I never said I'd like to go down Kev. You've just completely made that up. Fat Sam is part of the reason we are in this mess.

I'd never aim for survival. I'd never make signings to survive. I'd never implement a system where best case scenario is 40 points. I will support managers who play sustainable football and try to win every week.

It's a bigger project than he thought, I'd say. We've got a bunch of absolute turkeys playing for us, and most of them need punting. Can't all be done in one window though, him and Brands need a good 2 seasons to sort this mess out. The early signs are encouraging though, I have faith in them. It's absolutely the players at fault.

well if he didn't know it before he knows it now how big a job he has on his hands.
There isnt a player who could have an argument and say i have shown you what i can do , dont dare drop me .
should be right on the phone to the board and get them moving players in and more importantly in a different way out, we need a new broom to sweep the rubbish out to many hanging around that offer nothing to Everton other than maybe promise from one or two of the younger ones, DLC, jonjoe, Benni and if he wants to stay Lookman other than that i could care less if he sold any of them other than pickford, Coleman, Cana and maybe one or two others at a push if they were fit.

What we needed was someone who could get the most out of the squad we have and gradually strengthen the team over the longer term. Marco has never been a long term manager, so I find Moshiri’s slavish pursuit of him puzzling. This is the first job in England where he has a fan base with big expectations - will be interesting to see if he is up to it!

Get behind him people. He's here to gut and rebuild and unfortunately he can't force the greedy cretins to leave overnight, so this is gonna take a while. Give him a chance, give him support and wish him luck. Anyone wanting him to fail to suit their agenda on Big Sam or the like needs to pipe down or frig off to support Neil Warnocks Cardiff or something.

We're back to where we were when RK was fired. Conceeding at least 2 a game, looking liable to collapse, and finding it difficult to score.
Jags and Baines are finished and Keane isn't very good. That's 3/4 of our defence that would struggle playing Allardyce style defensive footy. Playing Martinez attacking style with these is suicidal not to mention trying to impose zonal marking .
Marcel must deliver if we are to avoid being in a relegation scrap by Xmas.
