It was no fluke. It was a combination of intelligent play by Benzema and a severe lack of awareness and concentration from Karius.

It was also down to poor officiating. Benzema is offside so as soon as he closes Karius down the flag should go up. It is then up to the Ref to blow his whistle or play the advantage. If he plays the advantage then he should bring the play back because quite clearly there was only one team who gained an advantage and that was the team with the offside player.

And they wonder why they're becoming or are the most hated club in the land, overtaking UTD.

Gutted. I don't think I've ever in my life seen a team with so much luck in one game

- Ramos injuring Salah
- Karius conceding two of the biggest blunders you'll ever see
- Bale scoring a wonder goal

Ramos is a cheat. He judo throws Salah and then gets Mane booked for nothing. Well done our guys and let this be a learning season; come back and win it next year.

Heartbroken,gutted the lot.

We still have Jurgen and he'll take us to the promised land.

Every season we have got better and he slowly fixes the holes where we need to improve.

Keita and Fekir will improve our weakest area in the team and we'll be even more boss.

We'll win this trophy with Jurgen and we'll look back on tonight as a harsh lesson learned and come out of it stronger.

Allez Allez Allez.

Everything that could go wrong for us in a game pretty much went wrong. Rivals will say a result like this has been coming, but I say [Poor language removed] that. We were good enough. We were there on merit - our record spoke for itself.

Lady luck gave us a slapped arse tonight and it's not the first time either. From now on we have to make our own luck. Starting with Keita

I'm not as furious because there will never be a club like Liverpool. Im bored of this real Madrid or Barcelona. For me it's about being the best British team. Winning this would have made us have a upper hand in being the best team in England.

I still hate United, Chelsea and Tottenham, City and arsenal.
We can't be the same as them. We are Liverpool FC. We should cherish days like today because it has brought the club together. We are Original and will always be.
Its hard to keep your head up in a world like this but WE MUST.

Really proud of the players and klopp. Let's keep going no matter what. [Poor language removed] the world
.

Not to mention Ramos [Poor language removed] was laughing while looking at Salah walking to locker room in tears.

You know, I thought I'd imagined that when I saw it. I mean, what the actual [Poor language removed]? The lad was bust and then that prick was laughing thinking it was job done.

Like I said earlier, I'd rather be beaten fair and square than have to suffer a bunch of pricks cheating and laughing. I hated RM before but by god they can burn as far as I'm concerned. Bale's first was a worldie, fair enough, but the dark arts were an embarrassment. Losing with a bit of dignity is far more valuable to me than winning by being devious bastards - I'd rather never be in a CL final again than have to rely on that [Poor language removed].

Anyone thinking it's a good idea to put money in their coffers doing the stadium tours of the Bernabeu, all that historical stuff... [Poor language removed] right off. Don't give them a penny. I'd rather donate 20 quid to Everton. Real are a shower of shitehawks and a [Poor language removed] embarrassment.

Here’s the thing: I’d have a modicum of sympathy for their fans if throughout the whole thing they’d been humble, excitable without getting carried away, and savoured the cup run without screaming in everyone else’s faces about it. But no, they behaved like animals, again.

Every single time this happens it’s the same. 2014 was even worse, they never enjoy anything amongst themselves, it’s always “LOOK HOW MUCH BETTER WE ARE THAN YOU LAD YOU WISH YOU WERE US”. Well you all deserve this.

That's the irony...they always bang on about the "Liverpool Way" as though they're ambassadors for decency. Yet time after time they show their true selves. Humility is a stranger to them...arrogant, in-yer-face, boorish behaviour is now their trademark because "we are Liverpool". Even their eccentric manager is spouting that mantra now. That shameful debacle with the Man City team coach is evidence of what they are, doing as they like with scarcely a word of criticism from their rank and file supporters...you know...the ones some would say are ok - but still don't condemn those who aren't. That inarticulate moron interviewed at their ground last night with his bevvy in hand is a cameo of what they've become....an embarrassment.
