nobody wants him. this is only barely better than Allardyce in terms of acceptability to the fan base. He'll have to finish higher than 8th to earn a second season. But we will more concerned about what the likes of Cardiff and Huddersfield are doing to avoid relegation so no need to concern ourselves with a potential european finish.
Nobody will be happy with less than 7th. He needs to achieve that and show an improvement in results and performances against the top 6. If he doesn't I'll be disappointed. Whether I'd want him sacked or not depends on other factors. For instance if we finished 8/9th on 60ish points with a couple of decent cup runs and a noticeable development in a couple of our young players, I'd probably not call for him to be sacked. But I wouldn't be surprised if the club still sack him and I probably wouldn't be overly bothered by that.

What footballer moves clubs because a footballing director is good?

They move because of money, challenging and working under top managers who improve them.

Again I will make a reference to the RS, they still have the same footballing transfer system, difference is klopp has a bigger pull than Rodgers which opens up a bigger market to shop in.

Get a conte class manager in and players will come running to join the project, because

1. It shows the club has ambition.

2. they know they will be working under a manager that will improve them and either win trophies or improve them enough to get a good move.
But we cant get that class of manager. We need a Brands to do what he did in Holland and unearth a Wijnaldum, Dembelle, Mertens, Strootman and pass them on to a Silva-type manager.

You signed up to a forum today and the first thing you post is how finished you are with the team and you're surprised everyone has you clocked as a kopite WUM?

If you're "pretty much done with Everton" why would you feel the need to sign up for a forum and tell a load of Evertonians that? Bit strange that behaviour no? Doesn't make sense mate, red flags and scarves all over the shop here from you.

What do you think of Marco Silva lid?
Why not join and say that? Maybe there could be fellow fans who are tired of spending their money on games and accepting the utter [Poor language removed] we’re given back on the pitch
It’s nothing to do with Liverpool, just stating my personal position
I already said previous Silva is average “lid”

Why? What's wrong with Burnley?

Nothing, it just shows a collective failure on our part. We have more resources than them so should attract better managerial and playing talent in the same way that Man City would expect to attract better than us. The fact we’ve finished behind them is because we failed to do that. So yes, finishing behind Burnley is an indicator of our collective failure.

Because joining to say that proves that you aren't that finished with us or, the much more likely option, that you're on the wind up.

Hello kopite please go back to your own forums.
Thanks and goodbye.

what you think of Cristiano Ronaldo, Marco ?

The only concern I have about Silva is that he likes to play a high pressing game. Lookman and Vlasic are going to have to learn quickly if they want to play as defensively they will be required to work hard and close down high up the pitch - something which has been missing in blue shirt in the past. That may of cause be down to the managers we have had.

If they can’t adapt, sell them.

..that’s what the top teams generally do, but you ideally need an athletic and mobile back four to support that model. Keane simply can’t be part of a back four that pushes up.

Anyone on GOT that thinks we can attract Simeone, Conte, Emery etc. needs to wake up and move their calendar from the 80’s to present day.

I love Everton but we are not a big job at the minute.
Simeone I agree with. Why would he possibly want to leave one of the best clubs in Europe to come here?. Nonsense.

Conte? I reckon he'll be out of a job this summer. We'll see what other clubs come in for him, but he has a reputation for falling out with players and some top clubs may see him as a risk. He may see us as a project, and a very well paid one at that. Personally, I don't think it will happen for the simple reason he'll want to keep his options open and we'll want somebody appointed much more quickly.

Emery? Don't see why not at all and would be disappointed if we didn't at least enquire. He's available, the top clubs will not be overly impressed with his record at PSG, and working with a club of our status is no different to what he did at Valencia and Seville. Plus the pay will be better.
