1.) it was nailed on from day one anyway, and..
2.) Silva is the wrong choice to succeed him

I think that this was the zenith of our success, as was the Bayern game the zenith of our performance. Everyone with any involvement in the club were straining in the same direction to be the best.

Now we have dipped to a sad nadir, where there is a total disconnect between fans and management and players.

I hope that this heralds a return back to the top of the heap from this low low point.
