Couldn't tell anything from that press conference. I just assume the board are keeping their heads down and letting him get on with his job. No need for them to have talks seeing, as he correctly says, as he has a one year contract left.
You mean other then throwing a paddy after he gets asked if he staying... he’s going an he knows it

'I've got a contract' is a bit different to saying 'I have had the full backing of the board and I will be here to see out my contract'

Sounds like he knows once one of our targets say yes, he's gone

Agreed sounded like he knows the writing is on the wall and things will be confirmed one way or the other once the season is over, likely if he was told he was staying he'd have been a bit more bullish and upbeat.
He would have been lording it up for all it's worth .pay him off and let's move forward

He was talking about Everton only needing about 3 good players to get amongst the top six. I thought it was rather strange the way he says Everton and not ‘we’ or ‘us’. He’s already mentally moved back into a pundit role.......

Says he doesn't get involved in transfers. He has no idea on the current situation. lollol

Saying Wayne Rooney hasn't asked to leave, or there hasn't been a confrontation between the two of them. Retores about giving any player playing time.

Doesn’t get involved with transfers? So tosun and Walcott weren’t him. So he doesn’t even bring good signings to the table. Maybe the sam lovers will shut up about that now then.

The way he drank from his cup proves to me that Brands is coming in to sack him and Fonseca will sign a 3 year deal to be manager.

Seriously, thats the same type of press conference he has give for the last few months. He bats everything away with a straight bat.
Look at the overhead shot of his cuppa when he'd finished though...hmmmmm

last few weeks i'm looking at buying players, we discussed transfer, we know who we want

Today: i don't get involved in transfer in or out

I've been surprised so many have had their doubts over Allardyce remaining past this season...

"OMG, OMG, OMG HE'S SAYING HE'S PLANNING FOR NEXT SEASON"

Some would do well to challenge themselves with "What else could he say..."
