No way fat sam is staying.

Even our board isn’t that stupid.

I think the decision has been made, Allyrdyce knows. I could not see anything else making sense at such a late stage.
I think that if Sam is leaving then his replacement must be agreed and ready to start work because Sam is right that the squad needs to be pruned and we all know that at the same time we need to bring players to the club in a few positions that are first team starters rather than squad players.
I cannot believe that a decision has not been made and Sam made aware of it long before now. It is after all the biggest and most important decision the club will probably make this year.
If Sam is going to leave I think the club will leave the manner of his departure to Sam. I don't believe we will hear that Sam has been relieved of his duties instead I think Sam will be allowed to say that he has completed the task that was given to him but , he has decided to retire or whatever reason he chooses to give.
If that is the scenario then he will probably see out the next couple of games and then make the announcement to leave within a day or so of the end of the season.

If Sam is leaving and a new manager is not ready to step in immediately then that is an enormous blunder by the board in what will be a very short window... which leads onto the question what is happening with Brands/Walsh and who is in charge of recruitment ?

What is the schedule for pre season.. we would normally know most of that long before now... are they waiting for a new manager to announce it ?
This the most confusing of times. At times I think far too much is being read into every word that is said and that the decision has been made and Sam is staying for the next season.
Then you look at the lack of information, lack of clarity from just about everybody at the club and you wonder is the whole club in a holding mode until after the last game before huge changes are made.

You may or may not be right regarding Allardyce knowing his fate. I personally think you are wrong, but only because I think Moshiri is waiting on one or more positions to be confirmed, i.e. DOF and the replacement manager, before making a final decision/announcement. He doesn't want to be caught with his trousers down like with the Koeman debacle. You yourself referred to this in your earlier post. I'm sure Allardyce knows his position is at risk though. At the end of the day though, we're both guessing really.

I also think you are wrong about how it will be announced. The problem is the issue of compensation. Allardyce isn't just going to walk away or retire as you suggest. No way. I know he did with Palace, but they wanted him to stay and he had 2 years left on his contract. This time, if he leaves, it will be us who wants him to go and he will want his compo. We won't be able to hide that compo in our annual report so it will all need to be transparent. It's possible that we may come to a negotiated settlement but nothing about his character tells me he'll accept less than what he is entitled too. For me, it'll be Everton announcing that we have parted company and thanking him for his efforts.

At the moment, it's still a big IF as to whether he stays or goes.

Deffo mate let the kin lot of them know.
I want an all out war tomorrow against anyone who condones what has happened, not just this season, but every season under Bill Kenwright. He should be target No. 1. He has destroyed this club and its fanbase. He needs to go.

Get rid of: Kenwright, Woods, Elstone, Fat Sam and Walsh and start a fresh.

Failure to do this will see it turn on Moshiri big time.

Couldn't agree more the lot of them knock me sick.

Well. What do you reckon lads. Another day. Another presser. Another few ITKs having their pennies worth.

Which way is the pendulum swinging. Allardyce out? Allardyce in?

I haven't got a 'kin clue personally. 50/50 is my shout.

Staying, IMO.

If he was going, they would have announced it before tomorrow’s game.
