Whatever happens next, Moshiri must not allow this embarrassing survey episode get in the way of changing the manager. The idiot marketing director should share the same taxi as Sam. It would be interesting to hear their conversation. Probably only one would get out at the other end.
If we where 4th it’s wouldnt even of made the news, the reason it has is because he’s get a deserved low score of 90% if the fan base

Just out of interest, will you support the next manager with such vigour ?
The fact I don't use terms like gravy guzzler or any of the other childlike insults doesn't mean I wanted him as manager.I support EFC and the idea that the team can succeed but the manager can fail to the point he's sacked is an idea put forwards by some forum members that defies logic. But you still haven't come up with your "eventual candidate" Tuchel? Blanc? Simeone?...Oops nearly forgot,Silva?

Other than Vitor Pereira, pre Koeman, I`ve never advocated anyone for manager.

There are people within the club who are eminently more qualified than all of us, who make these decisions.

However, the end result when hiring Allardyce is sadly predictable.

That 'non issue' is still on the first page when you Google Everton crest, it was in the top ten most read articles on the BBC news website and there was basically uproar over it. And it was changed as a result of the fan uproar; exactly what you said would never happen.

Of all the points you could have put forward in response to me, trying to claim that the crest wasn't an issue is the most ridiculous. You may well be correct that they won't change the manager as a result of fan pressure, but you said they would never make a decision based on fan opinion - that is demonstratably wrong and the crest is the demonstration of that.
I said they'd never make a major decision based off fans opinion but ok I'll make it even clearer. The powers that be will never, EVER make a major decision that will either effect the club or have large financial implications based on what fans want.

There was no decision to make nobody else wanted it.And for the previous two seasons, the end result of hiring Allardyce was staying in the division.

BTW, who the hell Google's specifically for our crest (or anyone elses for that matter) anyway? Has it not occurred to you that maybe the reason it's first on Google search is because it's such a non-issue that the subject of crests is rarely discussed and thus generates very little traffic?

These surveys are undertaken constantly by employees and customers of companies all over the world every single day. Just last week my half yearly survey came in asking me to rate (among other things) the strategic leadership and governance of my senior managers.

People are madly over sensitive to this issue. We're talking about extremely wealthy people paid vast sums of money to do a job. There is nothing wrong whatsoever with asking customers about their perception of the competence on display. And if that annoys the individuals then fine, they can always resign and take a position at Tesco or something free of the stress.

Was your assessment of your senior managers given to the press and/or your competitors? Don't make me laugh.

I suspect his "meeting " with Moshiri today, may put him firmly in the picture as to his future.

If he gets told that he`s gone, expect his behaviour towards the fans to become more antagonistic, a la his last few weeks at West Ham.

I mentioned it the other day mate, supposedly in his autobiography Allardyce says that he had been told by West Ham that he was being sacked, but continued to talk about his plans for the following season at West Ham just to wind their fans up because of the grief they had given him.

Hee Hee I like it! It would be good if it applied here.

What appears to have escaped most people's attention is that the survey also asked for fans opinions of the board. I'll tell you now, there is absolutely no way on earth that an official survey gets sent out asking people how they feel about the board without it being signed off at that level. None whatsoever.

Ignore what Allardyce said, whether you think it was a good or bad idea, a stroke of genius or an embarrassment, this wasn't an individual error.

Mate the date in his user name suggests he is either 65 years old or for some reason he likes to celebrate 1953 in conjunction with the club, think we can all have a guess at what type of blue would like that year...
