The Turning Point ?

I honestly don't think we create the big 7 team buying like we did under Koeman.

However.... whisper it quietly but the BFS regime has signed three players and two are starting to look alright. Mangala was a punt but loan punt. I await Tosun going Jelavic and Walcott going Schneiderlin. Everton, that.

Ps please exuse my ramblings I'm quite drunk
Fair points none the less...especially that last bit.

What the club needs is a real statement of intent. Most Evertonians are tired with the bluster and there's suspicions that those who are running our club are maybe in it for financial gain.

I don't have a problem with that, if the club is competing. Are we? It feels like we are as far away as ever. The narrative that we are in transition is seductive, and we've heard it all before, until the club shows a genuine intention to smarten up and establish itself again. It just sounds like recycled hot air.

“We shall go on to the end of the Premier League season. We shall fight in Goodison, we shall fight on the Manchester City's and Southampton, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air of our strikers."
What about the "we shall go on to the end, will never surrender" part of that speech.

Our current away form shows that all we do!

Our ambition is challenge the top 7. Which states that we want to be back where we were under Moyes?
At least then I was proud of the players we plucked from obscurity for pennies that performed above themselves.

He’s a multi billionaire with a degree, he’s far from being a Gormless fool.

The fact of the matter is, we have poor people running the club and until Moshiri can buy Kenwright shares he can’t get rid of the dead wood who holding us back...Kenwright, Woods Elstone

An to be an accountant you need a degree, he’s made himself a billionaire, he’s not a fool.

Stop being so down beat, until he owns the club, which at the moment he doesn’t, he can’t go all out an he can’t be fully to blame.

He is the majority shareholder, he runs the club.

You mention Steve Walsh not being a DOF and moan about it, truth is he was employed by Moshiri.

Stop making excuses for him, he has kept the likes of Elstone on and promoted him.

I think, when you're drawing parallels between Churchill at a key moment in British history and a rich man playing with a football club, it's time to put things into a bit of perspective.

Well the mass exodus of fans leaving the Emirates could have been our own version of Dunkirk.

Never in the field of first team football has so little been owed by so many to so few.

Either that or with Sam as Uncle Monty and Klopp as Rommel we're gonna turn it around.
