I wish we would fire him before we become mathematically safe.....then the fat bugger will not be able to say he “saved” us.

But unfortunately I am resigned to him starting next season with us

This (I hope!) is looking less and less likely as each day goes by! Huge pressure on Moshiri now though to get the next appointment right!

....when a manager is sacked they are usually paid compensation for the remainder of his contract. If the manager takes another job, often a part repayment is required of that compensation but I suppose much depends on the terms of the dismissal.

Regardless, I think Silva was only on a 2 year contract so I imagine if monies are due it won’t be a significant amount.

Lots of reports about Allardyce being moved on. If true, it surely will be pointless if he doesn’t take Walsh with him.

We wouldn’t have to pay Watford anything.

Agreed. Moshiri appears to take great interest in media, how he’s perceived and the job he’s doing. His odd relationship with Jim White and calling in to justify transfer deals both successful and failed shows he craves positive press and praise. If the newspapers begin to gun for Fat Sam and he feels as a result he looks foolish he'll sack him.

Good morning C-Frandel

I am thinking, if we cannot get the TOUGH QUESTIONS at the press conference, this is as close as we will get.

So it's ok.

Morning brother O. I see our favourite David who charges for podcasts is raining on this parade but still claims he knows Allardyce is gone.

Good morning Frandelinos.

I feel it may soon be time, for many to enter the healing waters and cleanse themselves of the sin of Allardyce denial.

Lest we forget, that forgiveness is a virtue.

Aside from a few lucky wins in his first few games...
And thus proving that survival is his specialty. I could be wrong but I'm not sure he gets into a relegation battler so early in a season though...hence he cannot sustain the survival mentality.

A new face is desperately needed. If we can't get Fonseca go and offer Silva an 18 months contract with an additional year depending on his success. He's join us in a heartbeat.
I think we've destroyed any thought that a Managers Gig at Everton is a career position now. Moyes' long tenure made us look very solid & stable, with regard to giving a Manager a good run. With that myth well & truly put to bed, any potential Manager will want a decent length & early dismissal clauses before signing on...IMHO.

Thinking about the Burnley game, if we lose (as some wouldn't mind to get shut of BFS), isn't this playing into his hands as he never shuts up about relegation, safety etc. I would take shitty draws (wins would strengthen his hand to stay) get safe and get shut, put it down as a bad dream.

I'd really like to be sure that Allardyce will no longer be here before I renew my season ticket.

I can't bear another season of this. When must I make up my mind?

Can say what he wants from here on out, everything he says is out of self preservation.
