It’s so obvious that he’s seen how bad our away form has been since before he got here, then instead of rectifying that and inspiring some sort of belief he’s just decided that we can’t win away and to just hold on for the point.

Imagine hiring a manager who only believes that 50% of games are relevant.

And not even 50% of the games.

Some of the home games are regarded by him as unwinnabke.....see the visits from Chelsea and United.

I bet he has already written off the Derby and City’s visit.

I can't even fathom how he can actually be so dim.

Like he gets this bit, in regards to away games, spot on in a way: “Away games are about results more than anything, not how we perform.
If we don't perform to our best, make sure we nick it. Doesn't matter how we do it, we've just got to do it somehow."

But then follows up with: “A 0-0 here (at Watford) would have been fine.”

Seriously.

They'd only won 4 home games to that point though.

Miracle worker.

Instead of Allardyce's version of the 'Gallic Shrug'....nowt t'do with me, Officer...I really do wonder what the hell goes on at the top table echelons at Goodison/Finch Farm. Its obviously very clear to us...and has been for a hell of a long time...that these embarrassing no-shows from the vast majority of players en bloc is absolutely unacceptable. That they continue to do it, do the players - professional footballers - think it acceptable...one shot on goal per game...the inability to pass with any real precision/cross the ball/head clear to a blue shirt from the box....even break sweat ?? Have they been told their fortune by him and, in turn, has Allardyce been told his by those in power along with the gormless Walsh - peeing money up the wall like a sailor on shore leave for what turn out to be one night stands (or not even that in some cases). Seemingly no....no admittance from top to toe that they've screwed up. The whole lot of the shower have underwritten this suicide note of a season and its sickening.

The worst thing about sam is knowing he is here until May. There is no way he is leaving before the end of the season as even if the worst was to happen, he would be labelled as the man to get us out of it!

I'm fine zoning out for the rest of the season, home games will be a good watch, away games i can miss and the derby is pointless to watch anyway. Just please get rid of him quickly, that is all i want to happen now. His team and walsh to leave at the end of the season and maybe I can get my hopes up again.

Saying that, I don't think many neutrals would think bad of us if we sacked sam and brought silva in before the end of the season, it would make sense considering his record and the fact we wanted silva.

If any on here know any Newcastle (or West Ham or Sunderland or Palace fans) then ask them what action they took to get shut, we don't do protests and the old plane is a bit old hat now. I think a hot air balloon is the way to go, maybe one of them shaped like a gravy boat sponsored by bisto.

I'd sack him now and bring Silva in, get that new manager buzz which will take us over line and give the new man enough to properly assess the players and prepare for the summer. Lardiola can wait by the phone for West Brom to call
