..I absolutely agree he was very lucky, indeed i’ve said many times I wasn’t sure how he got that points return (luck, bounce, tactics). However he did it, he did it and it was an amazing turnaround even if it wasn’t pretty.

Also factor in, that from sixth place downwards, the Premier League is probably the worst it`s been for years, so you could also say that`s gone in our favour too.

As an experienced Premier League manager, he should be able to take a game to dog turd teams, like Watford, Brighton, Huddersfield etc, but he can`t or won`t. Take your pick.

There was no turnaround, he just got very very lucky.

You can get off the fence you know ?

the man is a dinosaur, why do we insist on constantly playing long ball football?
WE have players who are technically decent and able to play good football so why constantly go route 1?
the sooner the fat mess is gone the better

Every time they had the ball they had time and space, when we had it even with little or no pressure we lumped it. relegation performance in every single aspect/department

..not sure i’m sitting on any fence, just consistent in my view that he did a terrific job turning our fortune around. It might be a very poor league but we were bottom 3 in it and 9/2 to get relegated. The points return to Christmas (I think) was as good as any manager in the game could’ve achieved, even if there was a lot of luck involved. Not sure that view is sitting on the fence, it seems quite specific.

He knows what' going on. He knows he getting binned so every time we play Crap he' ripping the players avoids any blame so when he goes go itll all be the players fault. He done well with what he had he amazingly kept us up zzz

Fat gobshite

Sticking to your guns can be admirable at times mate, but you can`t defend the indefensible x

He'll try mate, oh how he'll try.

You can even show unremarkable the points total before Christmas was, and still, it is almost as if Richard Attenborough delivered it, white beard and all.

We were 13th when Allardyce took over. We were absolutely not bottom 3.

Just for a bit of context Marco Silva in his first 14 games in the PL got 20 points with a far worse squad than Allardyce has at his disposal. In fact he took over just as Hull lost its 2 best players.

Allardyce has 19 points from his first 14 EFC games and spent nearly £50m in the process.

He's doing an incredibly average job for me.

..sorry, Mick, I was talking about his points return to Christmas. I agree we have slipped since.
