Another maddening decision from Sam.

Okay so Gueye is injured and needs to go off.

You either straight swap him for The Midfield Fraud, or why not put Tosun on and bring Davies back into midfield?

I know what I'd do, especially when you have a £20m striker who needs minutes on the pitch.

I would say Sam’s priority ar that stage was keeping a “clean sheet”.

For boys like Sam, a 3-0 victory is way better than a 4-1 scoreline

Perhaps Lukaku has emailed Sam and said Tosun is rubbish, from reports Lukaku didn't rate Niasse, it took him a long time but look how he's turned his career around here. But being serious I think the our change in attacking style has coincided with Tosun coming in, I see Tosun as a bit more of a target man and we have been going with Niasse who is different type of striker and it's working, so Tosun is just going to have to wait for his time to come.

Algorithims said yes, apparently. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...sam-allardyce-science-behind-everton-14266746

Interested in this "difficult" start Sam and Tosun have both discussed. They're not particularly clear about why it's been difficult. Hard being away from home? Picked up a niggling injury? Sharing a room with Big Ash on away trips and kept awake by flatulence? Doesn't like gravy? WHAT EXACTLY????

The mail says Sam think he doesn't work hard enough in training. I can only go by the two games but he looked like a hard worker to me. He should have come on today.

Not picking Tosun is a reason for firing Sam. He and Walsh supposedly scouted Tosun and by buying Tosun
in the winter window probably paid over the odds. Sam talked up Tosun and talked down Niasse.

Despite all that he does not play Tosun and says in public that Tosun is not match-ready.

Moshiri must be spitting nails. Around 30 million all-in paid for a player who is not getting a look-in!!

How can Moshiri trust Sam to spend his hard-earned wisely? You can accept being wacked at the Emirates
- it happens every year - but lashing out 30 million for someone who does not play is simple bad- management.

I think that Sam is losing the plot and maybe the Europa League spot may not be enough.

Given the season is basically dead I’d be very worried if he doesn’t get minutes. Surely the time to bed him in is now, given every game we have is a dead rubber? Perfect opportunity to get him acclimatised to this league before next season. Unless of course he’s just not very good....
Why is every game a dead rubber?

7th place will likely land a Europa league place and it's possible to sneak 6th if Arsenal keep throwing away points

Walsh/BFS, surely their thinking has to be joined up a little if we are to go and and spunk Best part of 30 mil on a player, WTF was he not given 20/30 mins today, if he couldn’t get a run out today when will he get a run out

Our subs were all used for injuries today. Can’t blame Sam for that.
