Tosun is not a counter attack forward.
If Everton scouts watched Besiktas’s games closely they would have realised they play a possesion based play regardless of the opposition-even against Porto away or Leipzig away they dominated their games and Tosun was a shining star because of this.

But Everton’s mentality is completely the opposite and unless Sam Allardayce decides to play this team like a big club should, Cenk Tosun will not be as effective as he was in his former club.

Btw, Niasse being the first choice ahead of Cenk is also a complete joke- Niasse played for a relegation battler team in Turkey just two years ago and was always considered to be an average player- and he is.

I was in the stadium today btw watching this humiliating result and trust me when i say this Everton first needs a manager that will play this team like a big club.
What i saw today was pathetic- and not just in terms of performance but also because of that awful tactical decisions.

3 central defenders?? really? Martina on the left? The only real creative midfielders, siggy and davies were benched, and Niasse was chosen ahead of Cenk..
all these and many more poor decisions are the reason of today’s result.

I am absolutely baffled as to why we spent £27m on a striker who isn't good enough to start in a team that has been crying out for a centre forward all season.

No Turkish player has ever truly settled and performed in the PL.

It's a good job he was born in Germany and came through Frankfurt's academy then isn't it?

This youngster Tom decided to pass DCL instead of Cenk which has had more clear position to scoring a goal and why? Hard to understand why Everton football club played with a U-21 team.
 

Turkish guys on here saying Everton will be their second team because if Tosun. Tosun doesnt get played or gets played when we arent set up for his style and the Turkish lads have issue with it and we slaughter them, why? Because somebody born outside of Liverpool has the temerity to comment on the utter shambles we have become? Have a word!

No it’s because of the utter delusion of most of them.
