Everyone writing him off after two games are crazy. He was our best man against Spurs, and we started leaking goals and loosing the midfield battles once he was taken off. But sure, he’s terrible. (n)

Those are the terms.

We need a striker, who can deliver goals, from game one.

Tosun know that. He know our position, and that we have high expectations.

He played 20 good minutes against spurs. Against WBA he had no impact.
I said it before we signed him, im a bit sceptic, and i still am, after two games.

can't see how he can be wrote off, thought he was half decent against spurs and had a few good touches and against WBA had no service what so ever, messi would struggle to look good in our team atm

He scored a few great goals against teams a lot better than WBA for Besiktas. The problem is the lack of service, but it seems like Walcott will help solve that a little.

It's a shame it hasn't worked out for him here - got a week to go in this transfer window to find him a new club and cut our losses.

I think West Brom was a bit of a rude awakening for him. Against Spurs, although they are a better team than WBA, he was on the big Wembley pitch and had a bit of space to work with. West Brom game to Goodison compact and with two big CBs on his back the whole game he struggled to get anything going. The rest of the team didn't help as we didn't use the ball very well at all but the test now is how he reacts having had a taste of the physical side of the Prem, if he's still struggling 5 games in then I'll start to worry.

FFS the guys hardly had time to unpack his bags or decipher what language is spoken around these parts never mind figure out how to score goals in a team that is designed to defend.

It's only going to get harder or him because Sam is going to ditch the free flowing attacking game employed against Spurs in favour of a more defensively dour approach.

Got to give him a fair go before deciding if he is the answer. What does concern me and with our summer signings - if they were that good how come nobody else where after any of them ? Walsh playing a blinder or clueless hard to say.

I really can’t see him succeed. He is to slow, to weak. Don’t have the physical attributes to play on an Allardyce team. Change of philosophy, maybe, but when that time come he’s confidence will be shattered.
