As bad as Walsh's transfers have been, you've got to look at Moshiri and Kenwright for the culture being instilled at the club. It's all a bit nouveau riche to me, with the associated lack of hunger and drive in the playing squad.

?

He's about to sanction the purchase of Theo Walcott, a player who absolutely encapsulates a lack of hunger and drive.

Try reading the words on the screen.

It wasn't a defence of Walsh, far from it.

It was a point about the culture at the club, of which Walsh is just another example.

Oh I can read them mate. You're posting unsubstantiated tosh, and getting called for it in every thread.

Completely out of his depth but seemingly trusted to act on the club's behalf to conduct multi million pound deals.

If he isn't binned at the end of the season (preferably sooner) along with the rest of his shithouse chums that have ended up with cushy jobs then we're going absolutely nowhere.

...Walsh explains how the transfer process works;

So he and the Manager must both sign an agreement before the player is acquired. If either says no then the deal doesn’t happen. Whoever most wants the player tends to take the lead to get him in.

If this was also the process with Koeman then Walsh has to be culpable for the situation we are in with this weak and unbalanced squad. It is a concern.
Only just seen this but he's equally as culpable as Koeman for every signing. A lot of people tried to argue that he had no say in some deals and that's going to be a tough pill for them to swallow.

We resemble Newcastle about 15 years ago all bluster and talk and big money flops galore, whenever the big boys got rid of a player you could bank on them going to St James Park on a huge contract.

There is no rhyme or reason to the transfers we've bought the best players from clubs below us like Sunderland,Burnley and Swansea and then target the ones not good from teams above us like Arsenal and Man United and all at eye watering prices.
