The gruesome twosome. Aim your cannons right here. Responsible for the loss of all of them.

yer but Bry, we are in a much better financial position thanks to Moshiri...

he's cleared all the debt, by selling all our best young players and pocketed 2 lots of tv money, whilst telling us all about this 'iconic stadium' that none of us have seen !

Our best attacking unit of the PL years. Gone...less than two years after this new owner comes into the club...the one who said the days of Everton selling it's best talents was a thing of the past.

Draw your own conclusion.

3 of them practically begged to leave. The other wasn’t all that good.

Yeah, begged to leave. Funny that's always the case at Everton isn't it? Always the players' fault.

That club hierarchy piss themselves laughing at the fanbase of this club.

Like Coutinho will leave, as did Suarez and Sterling. Players want to play for the most money and glory they can get. Was ever thus.

I am not talking about those 4 from across the park I am referring 4 young talents we had at our club all but gone in the space of 2 years.

Barkley, Lukaku, John Stones, Deulofeu.

Two left because we couldn’t match their ambitions, one because he’s a rat and the other well wasn’t rated by ham shank head.

Isn’t it worrying we haven’t kept any?

I think this points to far deeper problems.

It’s not concerning at all, it’s totally obvious. If you don’t compete for trophies your best players will leave.

Liverpool finished 2nd in the league and still lost Suarez. Considering we haven’t come close to achieving anything recently I think we’ve actually been good at keeping players for as long as we have.

Anyway, Stones is the only one of those who looks like he’s gonna be a fantastic player. Much as I rate Lukaku he’s struggling there now, and in my opinion devised a way out of coming to play at Goodison last week... that mentality will get him nowhere in the game. Barkley will do nothing, and Deulofeu is.. well... a bit crap.

Let’s be honest all 4 went to clubs consistently challenging for honours!
City
Chelsea
Barca
Utd
And all will probably have a medal or two in the next few years.

Stones, Lukaku and Barkley left because we cant currently compete for trophies or offer the same sort of wages. We have a long ay to go to close the gap on the current big 6. The key now is how we develop the team going forward we have a squad with a crop of very good young players (Pickford, Kenny, Holgate, Davies, Dowell, Lookman, vlasic and Calvin-Lewin) that all good develop in to top players as good as the 4 we have lost. We now need a manager that can give these lads the confidence to go and play football the right way but striking a balance between defence and attack. Its going to take a couple of years to develop them but we have the potential for an excellent side in the future.

My current concern is the size of our squad and the number of players on big wages that are going to prevent these lads from getting the game time they need. If we don't make the Europa league we will need a big clear out in the summer and I just hope we have a manger that has the strength of character to do what needs to be done. We cant afford to keep any players for sentiment sake. Baines, Williams, Jags, Besic, Mccarthy, Mirallas and Niasse all need to be shown the door.

Id like to see Sandro and Klasseen given at least until the summer but they have to be given game time to help them. I worry that our current style of play doesn't suite them and they could be sold at a lose when they really just need a manager that wants to keep the ball down and use player movement instead of direct balls.
