“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

I’m surprised you didn’t squeeze “totes amazeballs” in there too.

So when you’ve done with the hysterics, perhaps you could answer the question:

- Has he been charged?

- What would the charge be?

Not difficult.

No hysteria from me mate and for the record, I've never once said that he's been charged with anything.

Merely that the whiff of corruption has hung heavily around him for a long time and well before he got the boot from the Ingerland job for nefarious activities.

I think people are missing the point with why some fans are still appalled that Allardyce is our manager.

I think it comes down to what cost are you willing to accept for a modicum of 'success', with apparently staying in the league being success in this instance.

For many, having the figurehead of the club as a proven crook isn't a price worth paying for a club of our tradition, especially when many of us didn't actually think relegation was a serious possibility anyway.

It's hard to say whether that is an overblown view to have with Allardyce, but a fact is a fact - the man is a crook. Add to that bringing in a Kopite as an assistant and it's a bitter pill to swallow.

For me personally, I find the fact he's here distasteful, but if his transfers are handled by third parties and carefully vetted then like everyone he deserves a second chance (despite no remorse whatsoever for his actions, but hey ho.)

But I do and always did think that hiring him was completely unnecessary and fuelled by panic. What's done is done - whether you felt Allardyce as Everton manager to be abhorrent, at this point I'd suggest just giving him a second chance and the opportunity to win you over with what he does now rather than what he's done in the past. And that includes whether you have reservations about his football - give him 12 months and see what he does in charge of a talented squad for a change. If he's rubbish, he's gone - if not, you're pleasantly surprised. Win win.

Exactly my view on the situation. My biggest disappointment is that with our world-reknown for our EITC initiatives we've employed somebody who has been proven to be open to immoral temptation despite being in what was apparently his dream job....I'd say Sam is a man without boundaries.

Where’s the corruption though?

How is explaining the mechanics of a known loophole corrupt?

Well this is all getting a bit schoolyard isn’t it.
