“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

Guarantees????? How does he guarantee? We dont have his sort of players in our squad.

His first 25 games in charge of Sunderland = 27 points. If he does exactly the same we'd get 39. Use his overall points per game from Sunderland and it works out as 41 points.

His 21 games at Palace = 26 points. Would have us on 38 with 4 games left so that's better. Use his points per game from CP it works out as 43 points.

His record, and I include WHU also, is patchy. You can say that's due to having crap teams to manage and that's true but he's hardly the god like guarantor of survival some portray him to be. Going on his past record it's likely we'll stay up but it'll be close.

While not overwhelmed at the prospect of Mr Allardyce taking charge, I've have had enough of this continental manager obsession. And pleased we are at least looking at British. I'm happy for Mr Allardyce prove me entirely wrong and he will have my full support unless results are poor.

I might not walk away, but I can honestly say I've never been so disillusioned with the club. For me the appointment of Allardyce is the final nail in the coffin of us having any ambition, and if there's no ambition from the top, do I want to spend my time and money going to the games? I honestly don't know.

I agree with what you say but would also and ineptness at board level, how can they sell our striker and not replace him, sack the manager and not replace him, then have a dick measuring contest over the next manager until we become an embarrassment.
I've not really had a go at kenwright before, but we are in a mess that he as Chairman has to be held accountable for, like any businessman would.

Allydyce, if he decides to join us (wtf?!?!) just shows how low we are

I am so disillusioned also, I just hope we can ride out this depression in our situation until the end of the season.

I daren't put NSNO, as its no longer the case, so instead COYB.

Being an evertonian naturally gives you a bit of glass half empty mindset, a kind of cynical "everton that" mindset which might make us seem negative but actually helps you bounce back from the bummings and the bottlings and the disappointment. Because you know what we are like.

But there is something about this appointment which just cuts me to the core, so much so that I can't just kind of "laugh because if you don't you'll cry." I feel like this is one of my lowest points as an evertonian. A true cementing of small club status. Even if all I've known as a blue has been disappointment and the occasional Martinez season.

I have lots of sympathy for those who aren't standing for this and the superfans can just koff right off as far as i'm concerned because this is just utterly unacceptable.

Yes, sad day.

That’s a different scenario. You’re in the wrong thread.
In what world is that a different scenario?. I'm an Evertonian and despite all it's many failings will always continue to be. Its part of who I am. As a protest at what I consider to be the worst possible managerial appointment we could make, I'm going to stop attending matches whilst he is manager. I still want us to win every game, and will be devastated when he relegates us. You say that me not attending live games means I'm not an Everton supporter. Why does that make me any different to all the other Everton supporters, which I believe is over 90% of our total fan base, who do not attend live games?

Bill has succeded in brainwashing so many of our fans over 25 years into accepting this sort of thing. I don't blame fans one bit, I blame the board wholly and I despise them. If people feel they can no longer go to the game because of this then how dare others have a go.

4 points off 9th with two winnable home games and Everton have messed the bed and appointed Allardyce.

Amazing.

It seems quite clear that with this decision they either have no faith in the roster and are merely looking to survive this year or they are largely incompetent and were completely unprepared for this scenario of needing a manager.

@MickA ihas been my best mate for nigh on 40 years mate, i can guarantee he means exactly what he says and he's been going since the 80's, he's not the only one know who won't attend if Allardyce gets the job and wont be back until he's gone.
Tell you mate, my missus thinks this is brilliant, because she knows I mean it. As far as she's concerned I spend half my time watching Everton and the other half on here. Same with my mate who uses my ST whenever I can't go. In fact he was a bit too happy when I spoke to him last night so I might start charging him.;) He hates Allardyce too, but obviously not as much as me.
