If Moshiri's looking long term it won't be big Sam. He hasn't got a 3-5 year job in him.

Appointing him as a stop gap would be even worse than appointing him as a long term deal, no-one would listen to what he says and we wouldn't be able to buy anyone decent in January.

"We're looking at a top European manager...and Allardyce will do if we cant get him."

It's utterly laughable.


The statement really should just be:

"A decision on the vacant managerial position at the club is not imminent. The club have drawn up a short list of possible candidates and we hope to appoint a new manager in the coming days."
