Vlasic not even on the bench and another team full of the people that he likes rather than on balance and merit. It shows how he is just not yet ready to make the step up from the under 23's and wont be given the job no matter what the score is today. Vlasic has been arguably one of our best players this season other than Pickford.

gone with the right midfield three, but no width, wouldn't start with niasse, he's useful for the last 20 mins but doesn't have the quality to start a game, one of kev/lookman/mirallas would be better for me, but it's up to the boys out there to step up now

How on earth can he leave out Vlasic again. He said he likes width, yet there is no wide player in the side. Mirallas and Vlasic should have started.

Another 1st half of slow and dire football.

He has said a lot of things, purely to get people on side, with tired old soundbites about playing to win (what was that in Lyon then?), playing with width, (see todays team and his banishment of our one form player Vlasic), and his view that Klaassen and Sandro are good players (nowhere to be seen).

I liked this team selection all up until the point we once again have no wingers.

I dont get it. Maybe Im just not seeing something, but it seemed obvious Vlasic was one of our best players, and as much as I like Davies, Lookman was where almost all of our attacks came from this past week. I dont understand the hate for wingers...

Selection is not important to me....as they've all been crap at some point this season
