People seriously need a reality check if they still are turning their nose up at Dyche or Allardyce. WE ARE IN A RELEGATION FIGHT.

This is not a blip. There are too many problems that cannot be solved quickly.

Therefore someone to come in an just keep us safe is a priority. I wish this wasn't the case, and would love an Ancelotti and a like. But right now we need a specialist in this field. Not some untried foreign manager.

We are not in a position to attract that type of manager & we simply cannot afford to go down.

Sky sports reporting that Marco Silva has not ruled himself out...

That would be a Good choice in my opinion as do not particularly want Allardyce or Dyche & Moyes is off to Rangers apparently....

But that woudnt be now. Just no stop gap kak! And surely if he does good Watford will do everything to keep him?

If he throws the game Sunday, guess we will know!

But Pochettino and Silva were both new to the league managers who got more points per game than Sam/Dyche.

We need a good manager able to get winning performances out of a terribly unbalanced squad. I'm sure the likes of Klaassen, Sandro etc would get on better with a modern manager than an old school dinosaur.

Allardyce is the footballing equivalent of Richard Nixon. A crook.

If you feel the ends justify the means by all means support his appointment. Myself, I don't think he deserves or belongs at Everton Football Club.

I couldn't give a monkeys if he's a crook. Billionaire's don't become that rich generally unless they have done some shady deals in their time. Do you not support Moshiri?

If he keeps us up, that's all that matters to me.

I rate both managers but Poch didn't enter into the same mess at Southampton as to what we are in. Silva I'd love. But would be almost impossible to prize him away fromWatfird so soon into his tenure.

And this is what I'm saying. We need to get real, and understand what is & isn't available to us right now.

Even Allardyce until end of season, then look to get Silva out of Watford is more realistic

Southampton were 3 points off bottom 3 in January when Poch took over.

Whoever takes over will struggle with our squad, but I just think the quality players we do have (Sandro, Klaassen) who haven't shown it yet are more likely to thrive under a modern tactical manager than an old school hoof merchant. Just don't have the players to play that way.
