Why is this taking so long....did they sack koeman without having a proper replacement lined up ? Was there no plan b apart from praying that Unsworth would win a few games? Pathetic and amateur behaviour.
...regardless of who comes in, getting any points ahead of the January window will take some doing. Let’s not forget, Koeman and Unsworth have just about exhausted the playing combinations and not remotely stumbled on the right formation.
Sure, a new manager might have a short-term impact on performance but it’s difficult to imagine him finding a decent team from what he has to work with at the present time.
It’s just a matter of whether there are three worst teams in the league and i’m not certain there are.
Are you honestly suggesting that keeping a clean sheet for an hour then conceding three can be described as "working"?
Interesting. You start by saying that you would not want Fireman Sam anywhere near the club, and then list several good reasons why we need him.Under no circumstances do I want Allardyce anywhere near this club. But your absolutely right about this group of players. It's been a reoccurring theme for a while, including pre Koeman. The minute things go wrong they down tools. No fight, - for themselves, each other or God forbid the fans. No leadership, no (hate the phrase) game management. Maybe it's the same for all clubs when they hit a downturn, but it happens here far to frequently. The board has changed, managers changed, some players have changed, approaches/philosophy's changed but there's still this comfortable, I'm ok, can't be bothered malaise that appears to hang over the entire squad no matter how the deckchairs are arranged. So there's a nice a job for someone to sort out. Oh, nearly forgot, stop getting beat too.
Koeman is more of a crook for the basically taking £6mill a year to destroy a football club
He's a much better option than Dyche and the 'saviour'. The fact a lot can't see past his 'baggage' even though he'd do a job says it all.
Totally agree, and even though a point last night wouldn't have realistically given us a chance of qualifying it would have done the team a world of good going forwards to Sundays game.No and that's not what I said.
We set up to defend a clean sheet and were doing so. Then he gambled with the subs, the shape changed and we all know what happened. Had we kept the original, unimaginitive, shape there's a case to be said that the game finishes 0-0. What I was saying is that is relatively easy to park the bus in football, what isn't easy is scoring goals and getting results while doing it.
As we can't outscore the opposition at the minute I'd suggest we're best off defending a point and getting some semblance of team spirit and confidence back. It's not what anybody wants to see but until Jan there isn't much in the way of options.
On top of this, every manager in the league is perfectly aware how to play against us and exploit the weaknesses...THIS.
The most sense ive read on here in weeks.
Totally agree
Suntan is not going to tell a stranger on a train the truth.
I don't want him because he is a control freak who thinks about not getting beat first before anything positive and has very little interest in whether his teams play decent football or not. Like a better version of Moyes.

I agree with this, we can't score so we can at least protect our clean sheet and not take risks, we might knick a set piece or get a lucky goal.No and that's not what I said.
