Can you see it turning around because I can't? not having a striker is a killer to his plans, but you find a way of playing. Koeman is incapable. I was screaming for Sandro and lookman to switch sides as at least lookman tracks back & vlasic had their LB scrambling a few times first half.
I like dcl but he's just not clinical- plus he pulls defenders wide which is great, but no one's in the middle of the box behind him.
Even with a stuttering team, with Rom we'd of won a lot more games, certainly last night.
 
The issue with koeman and sacking him is that it kinda let's the board off the hook here. We know koeman is in crisis and can't seem to get out of it, if he is sacked on the basis of that then fair enough.

But I would argue currently that it sweeps the boards failings under the carpet yet again if that were to be the case. We have had defensive issues this season with defenders form/ 3 injured and yet koeman very publically said he wanted another defender. The board didn't deliver that defender for him and the end result is poor defensive performances this season.

Similarly up front. You look at siggurdson free kick last night and then realise that striker / cf that koeman publically asked for isn't there. Siggurdson biggest strength in his game and we failed to give him it. As much as you can have opinion on any other striker at the club, they aren't a centre forward and they aren't going to have the same impact. Plus it means without a big man up front to hold play, there is nowhere for the ball to stick to when we attack.

I'm not defending koeman by any means and would still prefer him to leave if this continues but ultimately the board let koeman down in two key areas we are suffering in the most this season, but this will be forgotten about for blaming of the manager instead. It's completely poor not to deliver those players despite the public requests from the manager. This is where koeman is failing this season essentially, conceding and scoring goals, without those factors any team would struggle.

However I would still we koeman go simply because I feel he is in a rut he cannot get out into no matter how hard he tries to. But that's football, sometimes your employers are a joke and you can't make it work even when they handicap you to that extent.

There’s clearly some things fundamentally wrong about the club, from boardroom down.

We need an experienced head, who’s not afraid to say what needs to be said. I actually think Allardyce is that man. He’s shown he can walk into basket cases & quickly turn it round.

Of course we’d all prefer Ancelotti etc.. but I don’t think we’re ready for that & guys like that don’t necessarily have the experience of such a failing environment.

He’s available & would take a short term contract.

Get him in!

Agree with that & sweeping changes at board level are needed ASAP.

They did fail Koeman with regards striker & CB.

However, he has enough good players to set up a LOT better than what we’re seeing.

Koeman out today. Boardroom changes immediately please Mr Moshiri.

The board isn't going yo change though because we fans don't care enough. We didn't care when kenwright gave no money to moyes for 2 years, we didn't care when Rooney, arteta and the like were sold to pay the bills and we didn't care loaning every year swallowing up all our money. It won't change now and sadly it could yet again be the thing that holds us back still, different face same issues

Some of us did. I’ve been anti Kenwright since the day he took charge. Was delighted to get rid of Johnson of course, but BSB was clearly the booby prize. He’d been part of an inept board for long enough.

Nothing will change until he’s gone.
 
Koeman is clearly not going to resign.

By saying he will stay as long as he has the confidence of the board, he has well and truly thrown down the gauntlet to the top table.

Given that Kenwright has past form for standing by his man, it will be no surprise if the Dutch man is still stinking the place out for a while to come.
