I just wish I could see what we're trying to do.

For me that's the biggest problem. It doesn't seem like the players have the foggiest clue what they are trying to do.

What would you do though? I don't envy Koeman or whoever is in charge having to turn this around.

You can't even pin all your hopes on keeping it tight and nicking it 1-0 because the defence has always got a mistake in it.

There was a moment in the first half schneiderlin got the ball unmarked in his own half, ran about 20 yards straight into trouble, turned round and passed it back to where he started from.

What was the point?

Also, in the 2nd half we had a throw in right by their corner flag. A couple of passes later it was with pickford. Very odd how many of our passes go backwards.

He always points to things he can't control because he doesn't think he's at fault at all. It's all because of an early preseason, players not working hard enough, players not fighting hard enough, players not lucky enough, players not confident enough.

All things he can't change and so can point to week after week.

The team are still showing fight suggesting they are behind him, unlike in Martinez last few games when the effort was long gone.

Moshiri won't pull the trigger just yet as he appointed him. If there is no improvement in 3-4 games he has to go. Who comes in? Goodness knows, Unsie temp until Mosiri can find a top class manager mad enough to come?

There was a point in the first half of tonight's game when Martina moved forward even though his man was going in the opposite direction which opened up that whole side of the pitch. At that point alarm bells should have gone off but they didn't. If one player can take a manager down then it is Koeman's willingness to allow Martina to play when he is clearly not Premier League standard.
