I just want to post some positivity to the situation as most Evertonians like me are feeling a little tense about tomorrow.

A couple of seasons ago, a mate of mine, a season ticket holder at Chelsea, got me a ticket for the Chelsea v Everton match at Stamford Bridge. We were going through a difficult period under Martinez at the time. Nevertheless, I entered the ground late after a few pints with my mate and a bunch of cockneys talking nothing but Chelsea stuff.

The away end as usual with Everton was packed. The 3000 fans behind the goal and in the corner were magnificent. I literally had goose pimples as I sat quietly amongst the Chelsea fans in the Matthew Harding Stand.

Imagine my pride and emotions as Everton went 2-0 up. Ok we threw it away in the end with a 97th minute equaliser by Terry, but I was so proud to be an Evertonian that day.

We are up against it tomorrow, but I fancy us to come through and for the sell out away end to roar us through to victory.

Well said mate. There are lots of reasons to be anxious and I am sure a few lads are putting a tenner on a Shane Duffy winner!!!! But somehow find a way to win this, then beat Lyon and we can face a flakey Arsenal with optimism.... hope springs eternal!!! COYB!!!

Just studied the table and if we draw or lose tomorrow then coupled with a victory for Leicester at home to West Brom on Monday puts us in the bottom 3 on goal difference. With our least favourite opponents up next in Arsenal,it could be a hard winter.
