Second successive game I've voted for a substitute as MOTM.

That in itself is an indictment on how poorly we've played in the first 45 minutes of games, in pretty much the entire season to date.

...fundamental cause was the decision to play Sandro at CF. How some on here pick him there in their aspirational team selections is beyond me but much worst is how RK came up with that decision. I'm very concerned he didn't see what was patently obvious in the first half v Stoke, when Sandro plays furthest forward the ball continually comes back.

It was the key systematic error and the Manager failed to change it at half-time. 'Leading the line' means running the imaginary 'line' between their full backs but each time Kenny and Baines had the ball, Sandro was nowhere to be seen in the space ahead meaning we had to pass inside or go backwards to CBs. It's basic football really.

Last night just confirmed that we have the players to put a decent side together, but Koeman just can't do it. Nail in the coffin for me.

We don't have a great squad capable of challenging the top 4, but it should be easily capable of getting 7th again and battering the whole group in Europa. The fact we're not is embarrassing.
