I don't get the hate, he wasn't the best admittedly but he severed the club well: no tantrums about leaving like Mirallas; no sulking over new contracts like Barkley and Rom; happy to support the team unlike Barry who wanted guaranteed premiership football. For a season or two he was a great player for us.
