Well Arouna Kone scored a hat trick once, that didn't make him good enough.

And Arouna Kone was pretty much a known quantity based on him playing over here for a while.

People have judged Niasse on a handful of fleeting appearances for us. Ok that works both ways as tonight hows but what I would suggest looking at the control and finish for his goal then maybe, just maybe, he is not just some Sengalese bloke dragged off the streets of Moscow and sold to us part of some big con.

I actually think Koeman was right in what he said when he brought Niasse back in. Last year he was not needed as we had Lukaku. This year things have changed and he may prove somewhat useful. Got to play the cards you are dealt with.
