I'm past the hate stage Ian, honestly wish him all the best. He'll probably be top scorer in the league and has already opened his Champions League account.
Loads of us took him for granted and raged every time he was away with Belgium and dared talk of his ambitions, myself included, but I have no hard feelings and want to see him do well.

Based on the 1st man utd goal,the way he celebrated so much,i expected him to celebrate if he scored,[after saying he wont on his 1st but would on his 2nd as i had him to get 2],but to say it was banter with him putting his hand to the ear to the Everton fans i dont like,thats the type of thing that could cause trouble etc,bar the open goal,and the mis control on his chest when he would have a chance,i actually thought we kept him pretty quiet till his goal

He'll win stuff at ManU and good luck to him. He's a pro who wants to play at the highest level which we couldn't give him, but he didn't have to rub peoples noses in it. I can understand why he did it like, but reserve the right to think Rom the man isn't as classy as Rom the footballer.
