Seen a few Sunderland fans in the carvery by aintree yesterday did they have many down ? I bought a ticket but didn't have any intention of watching Ian Beale and olly murs.

Should've priced it fairly - a family of 5 (2 adults 3 kids) is £45 before you even get near a sausage roll or pint of snide lager.

Still, money raised for charity is money raised for charity.
What do you want them to price it at? and 2 adult and 3 kids accounts to £35 not £45. £35 is not bad for an afternoon out to keep the kids entertained. Didn't go meself but that is because I didn't want to, not the price. The club cant do right for doing wrong with some people.

Such a shame the club didn't just do an Everton Legends Vs Sunderland Legends match as I'm sure that would of had for more people interested. I bought a ticket myself because it's for a brilliant cause but I didn't go due to work commitments (and the fact that I had no interest in seeing a bunch of celebrity no-marks) so I passed on my ticket and the lad who used it had a great time. It wasn't for me and probably could of been done better but kudos all the same to the club and everyone who attended.

Why are all you absolute whoppers taking this as a slight against the club!?

Say a family of 4 for £20 might've been fair, the figures are all arbitrary.

Actually £35 is quite a lot for 2 hours of keeping your two kids entertained, but I guess not in this day and age.

You can't say anything anymore against the likes of Moshiri, Koeman and anyone/anything else to do with the club jal, there are loads out there who will always take it as having a pop.

Less than it would cost to go to the cinema where I am, tho that is outer London tbf.

Nice effort by the club imo, but always felt it should have been left to Sunderland to put on. Is there a reason they didn't do it, other than the fact we were?

Great effort, but bear in mind that EFC took this on board and announced it unilaterally shortly after Bradley's death.
Also bear in mind that it was a joint fundraiser for the Bradley Lowery Foundation and EITC.
Sure Sunderland have done/will be doing their own stuff.

Just take 1 kid and leave the other at home with the mrs then instead of £30 it would have been only £15. £15 less for the charity mind but still something to a good cause. Cost me £25 and thought it was well worth it and a good day out.
