I've calmed myself after a fume last night, but two things are very obvious to me now:
1. Our squad isn't good enough to challenge the top 6
2. There is no appetite to compete financially (and therefore on the pitch) with the top 6.

Neither of which are exactly shocking or actually that disappointing, but those thinking that this regime is setting themselves for an all guns blazing assault on the top 4, need to readjust their sights.

Still can't believe the utter desperation and incompetence of ttrying to find an experienced targetman yesterday, when they had months. Until Bill and Bob aren't involved in negotiations everything will be very similar.

I don't know...Arsenal seem to be in a right old mess.

But Mr Moshiri said "at least top six" in his wonderful interview with the pre-eminent sports journalist Jim White. :hayee:

Arsenal have had a narrow defeat at Stoke and a bumming at Anfield. Things we do every year..

Wenger hasn't suddenly turned into an awful manager though, and their players haven't suddenly turned crap. Arsenal are more than capable of winning 6 or 7 on the trot now, and probably will.

I agree Wenger hasn't turned into a poor manager overnight, he's been in steady decline for a good 18-24 months

I think he's incapable of fixing the problems that Arsenal have, and they will almost certainly get humped 4-0 when they next run into Chelsea.
Finishing below 6th though? Not for me.
