1 goalie, 5 defenders, 2 defensive mids and 3 centre attacking mids up front.

Boy am I excited.

None of them with any pace.
Gonna be a long season. Hopefully some change of personel for next year. Would be nice with a DoF and a manger who appreciate attacking football.

So last season our striking options were Lukaku, Valencia and Kone.

This season it is Sandro, Rooney and DCL.

We have improved the goalkeeping situation and one of the centre backs, but we are still very familiar in the rest of the defensive players.

Gylfi and Klaassen brought in to get more goals from midfield.

i honestly can't decide if we are just a bit or much stronger than last season at present.

We´ve made a mess of it, no denying it. We bought a good, young goalkeeper, a good centre back and Sigurdsson but the team as it stands is weaker than it was one year ago. DCL as our only striker. Wasn´t that bad even under Moyes who hated strikers.

Striker is weaker but no way is the whole team. Martinez left the club in a mess. Will take time to fix.

The weird thing is we haven't even had a slight link with anyone today. Not even rumours to go off!!

Reckon we have probably been half trying. The options are surely very dire.
