Really hoping for a quality striker tomorrow. I think it could be a frustrating season otherwise.

Would like to see us offload Niasse and McCarthy for healthy fees but keep Barkley and Mirallas.

Batshuayi to compensate for only 6 months of Costa would make a lot of sense if they are getting Llorente and see Bats as surplus. A lot of that makes perfect sense for everyone on paper really, still not holding my breath. If this was like American sports and you could just trade players without their consent I would call the above a win for us and Chelsea (Swans are screwed regardless).

The fly in the ointment is Swansea.....if they trade Llorente the rest will fall like dominos
 
Don't want Costa if we sign Batshuayi on a permanent. Just get Batshuayi in and make him an absolute monster. Costa if its for 12 months, otherwise we will only get 12 decent games out of him, just not worth it IMO.

With some dollars left over to target another centre half next summer and a left back.

That would conclude a wonderful summer.
Have no doubts that Batshuayi would do well here, DCL as his understudy and Sandro when we play 2 up front or playing out wide.
 

Can see us getting someone over the next 24 hours that we havent once been linked with or has been mentioned by anyway and this thread, either that or nobody and the thread goes into a error 502 Bad Gateway
 
Batshuayi and Vermalean would be a decent enough finish considering how late we left it. Vermalean would only be cover anyway. Striker is by far the more important signing
