It's the same with most teams mate,but I see what you mean.What do west ham think they are going to do?Managers need time unless like Roberto when you know that's it's mate you have to go.
Exactly.....It does mean that to an extent a manager is reliant on support from the board...they have the final say on spending money and aklso on whether a manager stays in his job. I think Everton have money available, but Mosh while being ambitious, is also shrewd,and when push comes to shove its his financial instinct that will count. Funnily enough, the same could be said of West Ham...I've met Gold and Sullivan(some years ago) and they are big football fans,primarily, but also very shrewd business people. They got a good deal at West Ham and need relative success on the pitch to justify the shiny new stadium they have acquired, but like Mosh,they won't spend ALL their money chasing the dream.
