Just what I've heard chief. I bet you're the type of person who grasses on people who take extra pens out the stationary cupboard at work.

Stick that in your libellous pipe and smoke it
I'm staying out of this, for the rest of the summer.

Quality response from one of the high ranking officers of "Bedwetters Anonymous".

Steve Walsh is employed by the club and no amount of bedwetting on an internet forum will change that. Stick that up your pipe and smoke it ;)

I have to query exactly what Mr Walsh's role is. Many people on here seem to have very different views as to precisely what it is he does ranging from a trumped up chief scout to the man in charge of our recruitment lock and stock.

We have made some good signings so far (Pickford, Keane, Sigurdsson, Rooney(? Started well at least)) but an extensive network of scouts was not really a requirement for any of those signings (in fact a subscription to the two largest pay TV networks would have sufficed) or for the signing of Ajax's captain. We have also signed some prospects for relatively small figures and I suppose this is where the added value may be derived, although of those signings only Sandro this season and, maybe, Onyekuru next season appear to be near first team contention (some on here also seemed to think Rhino was more closely involved with these types of signings - Bowler, Donkor, Mathis, Markelo etc...?). The recruitment oversight angle seems somewhat undercut by almost every new signing singing the praises of Blue Bill's role in the transfer negotiations.

A long rambling post, I apologise. I suppose my question is, does anyone know what it is Walsh is supposed to do?

"Bedwetters". Original content superstar you aren't you. Anyway get back to typing up your strongly worded email about Darren in accounts who's taking envelopes home for his own use.

You got it ;)

However, nobody I know called Darren in accounts though, or an accounts department. Or a stationary cupboard for that matter.
