Really poor, regardless of the match on Thursday it simply isn't acceptable for an Everton side assembled at considerable cost to resemble something akin to Moyes' darkest days.

Said this a week ago before the city game. We are playing our 3 hardest games at the wrong time of the season for us. Not only do we have numerous players we are trying to settle into the squad, but we are without Bolasie and Coleman, probably our 2 most important players when trying to play on the break. Other injuries haven't helped and neither has the suspension of Schneids. Plus it's coming on the back of 3 games in 6 days.

Let me just repeat where I started; this is one of our 3 most difficult games of the whole season. Let's not go overboard about it.
